The 10th international APE Conference will explore the future of scholarly communication and academic publishing, discuss recent developments and show innovative highlights. High level experts will present their views, peers will share their experiences and there will be lots of time for discussions and networking.
APE 2015 will review the possible impact of the 'Internet of Things'. The event will also discuss the sustainability of OA funding and archiving (permanent access). Other topics are innovations, dissemination and accessibility, the integration of research (big) data and publications, unique identifiers, interoperability, metrics, rights & licenses, data mining and enhancing, the role of search engines and enabling technologies.
