Portico signs archiving agreement with the American Society of Clinical Oncology -

Non-profit electronic archiving service provider Portico, US, has announced the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) as its latest publisher participant. This inclusion brings the number of titles in the Portico archive to over 6,200.

Through this agreement with Potico, the Society seeks to ensure that its online journals are preserved and available for future scholars, researchers, and students. In addition, ASCO has agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico and has designated the Archive as an official delivery platform for post-cancellation access claims.

Founded in 1964, ASCO is a non-profit organisation representing physicians and health-care professionals in all oncology subspecialties who care for people with cancer. With nearly 25,000 members worldwide, the society advances the education of oncologists and other oncology professionals through its publications and conferences and is an advocate for policies that provide access to high-quality cancer care.
