Academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, recently announced the appointment of Kimberly Martin to the new position of Executive Publisher in North America. The appointment is the latest step in Maney's expansion into the US market.
In her new role, Martin will be expected to strengthen contacts in the US. She previously worked with ME Sharpe and Taylor & Francis and before that in a wide variety of production, marketing and managerial roles.
Founded in 1900, Maney Publishing publishes high quality journals in print and electronic formats that are international in scope and peer-reviewed. With a collection of over 70 journals in materials sciences, the humanities, and healthcare, the publisher publishes extensively for learned societies, universities and professional bodies.
