Scientific publisher RSC Publishing, UK, the publishing arm of the Royal Society of Chemistry, has announced the launch of a new publication, Energy & Environmental Science. Slated for launch in Summer 2008, the new journal will link all aspects of the chemical sciences by publishing research relating to energy conversion and storage, alternative fuel technologies, and environmental science.
A monthly publication, Energy & Environmental Science will publish topical reviews and original research as communications and full papers. Recognising the complexity of issues and challenges relating to energy and environmental science, the journal will provide a forum for work of an interdisciplinary nature across both the (bio) chemical sciences and chemical engineering disciplines.
From launch, the latest issue will be freely available to all readers via the website, www.rsc.org/ees. Free access to previous content of the journal will be available following a simple registration process.
