Garland Science, part of the Taylor & Francis Group, has announced the fifth edition of Molecular Biology of the Cell. Since the first edition was published 25 years ago, the publication has reportedly become the leading cell biology textbook, lauded as 'the most influential cell biology textbook of its time'.
The latest edition seeks to continue to build on its tradition of scientific authority, accuracy and clarity. The book has been completely revised and updated to reflect the current, rapidly advancing understanding of cell biology. Some of the hallmark features of the original have been retained.
Additionally, the authors have incorporated new features into the fifth edition in response to feedback from readers. For the first time, end-of-chapter questions have been included. Every copy of the fifth edition comes with media DVD-ROM which includes all of the figures in the book preloaded into PowerPoint presentations. It also contains the Cell Biology Interactive Media Player comprising over 150 movies - animations, videos and molecular models - with voice-over narration.
