Informa Healthcare licenses ebrary platform to sell e-books -

E-book technology firm ebrary, US, has announced that Informa Healthcare, a division of Informa PLC, has licensed its platform to sell and market Informa's growing selection of e-books online. With a portfolio that includes more than 250 new pharmaceutical science and clinical medicine books and other materials published each year, Informa Healthcare is focused on the life sciences and medical publishing markets.

With ebrary's technology, the company expects to significantly grow its e-book business while increasing usage and customer satisfaction. The ebrary platform not only makes it easy to submit e-books in industry standard PDF, it also offers flexible options for selling individual e-books and packages of e-books under both single- and multi-user access models.
