Library technology solutions provider SirsiDynix, US, has announced the availability of SirsiDynix StaffWeb, a new solution for K-12 libraries. The new, easy-to-use software solution will allow school librarians and media specialists to carry out primary circulation, cataloging, reporting and administration tasks and transactions using only a standard web browser.
SirsiDynix StaffWeb makes upgrading and maintaining library system software quick, easy and more affordable for school libraries, especially for district-wide systems that currently must perform on-site upgrades of staff workstations throughout the district. Currently available for K-12 sites running SirsiDynix Unicorn GL3.1, SirsiDynix StaffWeb will be available for SirsiDynix Symphony 3.2 in the second quarter of 2008.
This announcement was made at the 2008 Midwinter Meeting of the American Library Association.
