Wiley-Blackwell extends publishing partnership with Cochrane Collaboration -

Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, has announced that the Cochrane Collaboration has renewed its partnership to publish The Cochrane Library. The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases that contain high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making.

Wiley-Blackwell's wide range of evidence-based medicine products are claimed to aid healthcare professionals in accessing the right information at the right time. The Essential EBM Collection from Wiley-Blackwell seeks to provide healthcare professionals with up-to-date, unbiased and independently reviewed medical information to facilitate diagnosis and improve patient care.

Founded in 1993, the Cochrane Collaboration is an international not-for-profit and independent organisation, dedicated to making up-to-date, accurate information about the effects of healthcare readily available worldwide. It produces and disseminates systematic reviews of healthcare interventions and promotes the search for evidence in the form of clinical trials and other studies of interventions.
