Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, has announced that it has been awarded publishing responsibilities for Current Sports Medicine Reports, a leading sports medicine journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). The journal was recently acquired by ACSM, and expands LWW's publishing partnership with the society to include four journals and multiple books.
A bimonthly publication, Current Sports Medicine Reports is claimed to be a comprehensive and authoritative reference source dedicated to the unique needs of physicians in sports medicine. Each issue provides in-depth review of the most current literature for two major categories in sports medicine, covering 12 major categories over the course of a year. The journal, available online at www.acsm-csmr.org, is also available to Ovid subscribers. Other ACSM titles published by LWW include Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise (R), Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews, and ACSM's Health & Fitness Journal. In addition, LWW publishes numerous books and study materials for members seeking ACSM certification.
