Publisher Humana Press, US, has announced the launch of Eliminating Healthcare Disparities in America, a book co-authored by Dr. Richard Allen Williams, an expert on healthcare disparities. Dr. Williams, the founder of the Association of Black Cardiologist, writes not only about healthcare differences but also discusses the struggles the African Americans race has faced within the healthcare system. This text is intended to raise the reader's level of consciousness and concern to increase the knowledge about this issue. Eliminating Healthcare Disparities in America is projected as an initial spark that may one day eliminate healthcare disparities in communities around the country.
