Non-profit scientific publisher Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP), UK, has announced the introduction of e-prints to its new journal service, IOPscience. E-prints are delivered seamlessly from eprintweb.org (based on Cornell University's arXiv.org) and are presented in a new tab alongside regular search results, providing a valuable extra resource for researchers.
IOPscience is a new online service for journal content published by IOP. It contains more than 290,000 articles, from 1874 to the present day. Available through an electronic-only, site-wide license, the service is designed to give easy access to scientific, technical and medical content.
IOPscience is being enhanced continually, with the addition of new features and functionality to improve the user's experience. A recent release allows the user to tag articles with personal descriptions.
