Construction information solutions provider Reed Construction Data, US, is launching a major initiative throughout 2008 to boost the quality and quantity of its construction reporting data. Using new technology and automation to improve speed and efficiency, Reed's investment represents a 40 percent increase in its overall data reporting resources. The aim is to increase the quantity of reports issued, improve the timeliness of project coverage and increase the number of plans and specs acquired.
To reach its aggressive benchmarks, Reed is leveraging established resources from Reed Business Information, including its 20-year-old Reed Data Services operation. No job reductions are planned in Reed's US operations as a result of this initiative.

It offers its customers construction project leads, building product information, construction costs, market analytics and construction news through a suite of online and print references.
