E-book technology firm ebrary, US, has announced the availability of a new subscription database of e-books and other authoritative materials designed specifically for community colleges. With a growing selection of more than 18,000 titles, the affordable collection covers subject areas such as nursing and allied health, computer technologies, business, law enforcement, criminal law, and criminology. Contributing publishers include AMACOM, Cambridge University Press, John Wiley & Sons, and The McGraw-Hill Companies.
ebrary's new collection for community colleges will continue to grow at no additional cost throughout the subscription term and is available under a simultaneous, multi-user access model. Additionally, the new product includes powerful features for conducting research quickly and efficiently including ebrary InfoTools, which provides contextual searching across multiple online resources, multiple search options, personal bookshelves, highlighting, annotating, and automatic citations.
ebrary is offering a 25 percent discount on the Community College Collection and all academic subscription products. This discount can be availed until the end of March 2008.
