Event archiving solutions provider Conference Archives, Inc. (CAI), US, has announced the release of Sessions Science OnDemand (SSOD) 2007. SSOD is a digital archive of over 2,700 oral presentations that were digitally captured at the American Heart Association's (AHA) 2007 annual Scientific Sessions conference. The archive is designed to give global medical professionals access to the latest advancements and knowledge presented at the AHA's Scientific Sessions annual meeting.
SSOD is projected as a valuable resource for clinicians and researchers who need to keep abreast of the latest developments presented each year at the premier meeting in cardiovascular medicine. Nearly all oral presentations in the archive are synchronised - audio and slides - to mimic the experience of an oral presentation's live delivery. Each oral presentation in SSOD 2007 is transcribed, and the transcription is synchronised to the audio and slides of a presentation. Users can search for content either across the entire archive or within a presentation, thus yielding relevant search results.
This is the fourth year that CAI has captured and released the oral presentations from the AHA's Scientific Sessions annual meeting. To date, it has captured nearly 25,000 oral presentations from AHA meetings, which represent over 3,500 hours of content delivered. SSOD is released annually within 60 days of the conclusion of the Scientific Sessions conference.
