WT Cox Subscriptions to offer online access to top Elsevier titles -

e-journal, e-books, and print subscriptions provider WTCox Subscriptions, US, has announced a partnership with STM publisher Elsevier to provide academic and government institutions with online access to more than 1,300 top Elsevier journals. This offering, made possible through e-Select: E-journals from Elsevier, is ideal for institutions with small print journal collections.

Specifically designed for online access to individual-titles, e-Select provides full text access to more than 1,300 titles in the areas of social sciences and STM. It also includes access to subscribed content dating back to January 1995. Individual password access is available for up to five unique users. Researchers can search all articles available on the ScienceDirect platform, including nearly eight million abstracts. Amongst other things, the full functionality of ScienceDirect enables users to set up alerts, notifying them when new issues are available electronically (often prior to print). There is unlimited viewing, downloading and printing from the journals to which the institution subscribes.

With this partnership, WT Cox Subscriptions seeks to help its customers strengthen their collections, giving them flexibility in content and purchasing options. Having a reputation of simplifying the subscription ordering and management process, the company now gives its customers the added option of choosing from over 1,300 top STM and social sciences titles.
