Non-profit copyright licensing solutions provider Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), US, has announced that it has been named one of the '100 Companies that Matter Most in Knowledge Management' by KMWorld Magazine.
Published annually, the KMWorld 100 recognises organisations that have played a role in the creation and evolution of the knowledge management market through consistent innovation of technologies, products and services. CCC's licensing and rights-management services are used by thousands of companies around the world to simplify and accelerate the sharing of content within their enterprises. The company's service, Rightsphere, is an online rights advisory and management service that helps corporations manage information about the rights they have to publications and databases and delivers instant answers to employee rights-related questions. The service has been adopted by a growing list of leading corporations, including AstraZeneca, Baxter, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Pfizer and Philip Morris.
KMWorld's annual list, now in its eighth year, was compiled by knowledge-management practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers.
