With reference to the news alert titled "APPI, EMpact deal to promote scholarly information and education efforts" covered in the News Section of Knowledgespeak (dated 20, March 2008), publisher APPI has clarified that the nature of this agreement is such that Empact is proactively selling APPI journals in these areas. However, any subscription agent may take a sales order from any customer in these areas.
