The Pharmaceutical Science and Medical publishing divisions of publisher Informa Healthcare, UK, have announced that current subscribers of their collection of journals are being given access to their archive service as well. The free online service, available immediately, is seen to provide readers with an efficient, easy and cost-effective way to meet their information needs for those journals subscribed.
Informa Pharmaceutical Science and Medical journal subscribers can now expect to save time by using on-site search engines, save space used to store hard copies of journals, and save money on page view fees. In addition, with simple navigation, Informa's archive service is projected to provide an easy 'one-stop-shop' for information. While the archive is free to subscribers during the duration of the subscription, non-subscribers can purchase perpetual access to the complete Informa Healthcare journal archive directly from the publisher.
The archive service dates back to 1896 and includes the Current Medical Research and Opinion and Expert Opinion series, as well as the recent addition of 26 volumes of Critical Reviews in Toxicology.
