Non-profit electronic archiving service provider Portico, US, has announced an agreement with Scientific Journal Publishers (SJP) Ltd., New Zealand, to preserve the latter's online journal, Social Behavior & Personality. Founded in 1973, Social Behavior & Personality seeks to foster scientific communication in the disciplines of social, developmental, and personality psychology.
Through this agreement with Portico, SJP Ltd. ensures that the online version of the journal will be preserved and available for future scholars, researchers and students. In addition, SJP Ltd. has named Portico as a mechanism to fill post-cancellation access claims and has also agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico.
With this inclusion, more than 7,900 e-journals and 4,400 e-books have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
