Open access publisher BioMed Central, US, has announced that its articles are now indexed in both the Zetoc and SOCOLAR services.
Zetoc provides access to the British Library's Electronic Table of Contents for journals and conference proceedings. The service is free to use for members of JISC-sponsored UK higher and further education institutions and research councils. It provides access to the table of contents rather than the full text. However, once an article of interest has been found, the full record page provides links to help access the full text.
The SOCOLAR platform has been developed by China Educational Publications Import and Export Corp. (CEPIEC) as a not-for profit, public service platform. It provides a home for open access information worldwide, by collecting and aggregating open access journals and repositories into one freely available website.
