Academic publisher http://www.maney.co.uk/Maney Publishing, UK, and the Newcomen Society have announced a new agreement under which the journal Transactions of the Newcomen Society is being re-launched as the International Journal for the History of Engineering & Technology.
The journal will join the MORE (Maney Online Research E-journal) History and Humanities Collection which provides instant online access to 41 titles in history and humanities, including social and regional history, archaeology, and language and literature. It will also be included in the mini-MORE Archaeology and Heritage Collection.
Transactions of the Newcomen Society, now the International Journal for the History of Engineering & Technology, covers all aspects of engineering and technology, from a wide variety of perspectives. The journal features original peer-reviewed research papers on such topics as Aircraft and aeronautics; Electrical and ICT; Mining and metallurgy; Naval and marine; Roads and tunnels - civil engineering; and Canals, docks, dams and waterways.
