Publishing company IGI Global, US, has announced that it has selected RSuite as its content management system. IGI Global is an international publishing company specialising in research publications in computer science and information science, technology, and management.
Using RSuite will enable IGI Global to accelerate editorial process and drive content to XML for repurposing. The new efficiencies gained in the editorial process will bring IGI Global publications to market faster and provide the ability to build derivative products quickly and create additional revenue streams.
RSuite is a browser-based content management system that facilitates the creation, management, re-use, and distribution of XML, media files, and other document formats (Word, PDF, InDesign, etc). RSuite is powered by MarkLogic Server and provides native support for XML content storage services, full text search in combination with XQuery, a full suite of editorial capabilities for XML and other content formats, content re-use at many levels, and editorial workflow tools. It received the 2008 Mark Logic Innovation Award, was named a 2007 finalist for the SIIA CODiE awards in the Best Content Management Solution category, and was a recipient of Information Today's People's Choice Award for Top Content Management as selected by colleagues and peers in the information industry.
