Library solutions provider Ex Libris Group, Israel, has announced the opening of Ex Libris Italy-a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The opening of this office, part of the continually expanding Ex Libris European organisation under the management of Marc Daubach, corporate VP and general manager Europe, follows the Company's acquisition of Atlantis s.r.l.
Atlantis has been the exclusive distributor of Ex Libris products in Italy and Slovenia since 1989. Liliana Morotti, previously chief operations officer and marketing director at Atlantis, will assume the role of general manager of Ex Libris Italy responsible for sales and marketing in Italy and Slovenia. The first Ex Libris distributorship worldwide, Atlantis was central in introducing, implementing, and supporting the entire Ex Libris product suite in the Italian and Slovenian market.
