Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has announced a new home page for the journal Radiology, introducing a variety of innovations for online journal users. This fresh design revolutionises the online experience by streamlining customised content and navigational tools which provide users with easier accessibility to features.
In an effort to better accommodate international subscribers, a connection to abstracts is now available in Chinese and can be found at the top of the page. Hear What We Think Podcast discussions of current Radiology articles are prominently placed at the top center column providing readers with a more convenient way to participate in discussions. The expanding drop-down menu now includes informational links including a Podcast archive on the right hand side of the page. Also new to the page is This Month in Radiology, a summary of current articles that also allows users to view abstracts of the featured articles directly from the homepage. Finally, a new "Media and Analysis" content box highlights the "Most Read" and "Most Cited" articles along with Radiology's Impact Factor.
Published by RSNA, Radiology is projected as an authoritative reference for the most current, clinically relevant and high quality research in the field of radiology. RSNA is an association of more than 42,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists and related scientists committed to excellence in patient care through education and research. The Society seeks to promote research in all aspects of radiology and related sciences, including basic clinical research in the promotion of quality healthcare.
