Enterprise software vendor RSuite, US, has announced the launch of version 3.1 of its content management system (CMS), RSuite CMS. The latest release includes a new graphical user interface design, as well as changes in the underlying interface architecture, that are seen to improve all-round functionality and usability.
As well as enhancing the overall look and user experience, enhancements were also made to RSuite's forms functionality. These offer publishers an easy-to-use interface to insert metadata or quickly edit content at the element level of their liking.
RSuite is a browser-based CMS designed for publishers. It was named a 2007 finalist for the SIIA CODiE awards in the Best Content Management Solution category. The software was also a recipient of Information Today's People's Choice Award for Top Content Management as selected by colleagues and peers in the information industry. RSuite is powered by MarkLogic Server and provides native support for XML content storage services; full text search in combination with XQuery; a full suite of editorial capabilities for XML and other content formats; content re-use at many levels; and editorial workflow tools.
