BioMed Central launches new journal - Molecular Brain -

Open access publisher BioMed Central, US, has announced the launch of Molecular Brain, a new open access, independent journal. The journal will cover all aspects of studies on the nervous system at the molecular, cellular, and system level.

Molecular Brain seeks to provide a forum for scientists to communicate their findings in this rapidly expanding field, where integrative approaches at the genetic, molecular, cellular and synaptic levels yield key information about the physiological and pathological brain. Founding Editor, Min Zhou from the University of Toronto, is supported by four Editors-in Chief and an expert Editorial Board.

The journal is a sister journal to Molecular Pain, another of BioMed Central's independent journals, which has just received an impressive first Impact Factor of 4.13.
