Thieme expands WinkingSkull.com to feature more than 1,700 images -

Thieme Publishers, part of STM publisher Thieme Publishing Group, Germany, has announced that WinkingSkull.com has been expanded to feature more than 1,700 images, including illustrations from Atlas of Anatomy as well as clinical material such as MRIs, CT scans and sectional anatomy with explanatory schematics. Users gain access to all these images by subscribing to a PRO plan on the website www.WinkingSkull.com.

With this site, users can measure their knowledge using timed tests, then compare their scores against those of other users. The web-based self-study aid gives students the ability to drag and drop labels alongside each illustration and to turn labels on and off. Additional features include a zoom function that clearly presents intricate details, thereby simplifying difficult material.

The recently launched online learning tool complements Atlas of Anatomy, the atlas based on the work of Michael Schuenke, Erik Schulte, and Udo Schumacher and edited by Anne M. Gilroy, Brian R. MacPherson, and Lawrence M. Ross. Individuals or institutions may subscribe to a PRO plan on WinkingSkull.com for the duration that best suits their educational needs.

With thousands of vibrant images and a unique self-testing tool, Winking Skull PRO is projected as an ideal resource for students, medical professionals, and anyone interested in health science.
