Copyright Clearance Center names Diane Pierson as VP Marketing -

Copyright licensing solutions provider Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), US, has announced the appointment of Diane L. Pierson as Vice President of Marketing.

As a member of the senior executive team, Pierson will help guide the company's overall business strategy and will be responsible for CCC's marketing and product management operations. Specifically, she will lead the organisation's efforts to help rightsholders drive more revenues by making it easier for readers to share and distribute content online using CCC's global licensing tools.

Pierson brings 20 years of product strategy, launch and change management experience to her new role at CCC. She has served in a variety of senior marketing and product development roles. Prior to this appointment, she was the Director of Product Value for the Global Client Development division at LexisNexis, a leading provider of information and business solutions. She has also held positions as Senior Director of Business Development at R.R. Bowker/Simba Information and as Global Marketing Director at Dun & Bradstreet.
