Search engine for medical professionals SearchMedica.com was recently awarded the Silver Award for Outstanding Quality in the World Wide Web Health Awards. Organised by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), The World Wide Web Health Awards recognises the best web-based health-related content for consumers and professionals. SearchMedica earned recognition in the category of Portal or Gateway site in the Professional class.
The World Wide Web Health Awards were judged by a panel of international health information and technology experts. All entries were judged on the basis of accuracy, success in reaching the target audience and overall quality.
