Clinical research journal Current Medical Research and Opinion (CMRO), published by medical and scientific publisher Informa Healthcare, has announced that it is offering medical research professionals with a new 'one-stop-shop' on-line information delivery system located at www.cmrojournal.com. The new host platform delivery system is being provided by US-based information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc.
Atypon's cutting edge system is projected to help CMRO integrate its online content with the suite of Expert Opinion journals to provide a central, quality source of phase-specific R&D information. It is observed that CMRO and the Expert Opinion suite of journals comprehensively cover the R&D pipeline and hosting them on the same site will allow users to access a mine of valuable information easily and quickly, minimising the amount of time needed to conduct online searches.
CMRO online searches will now return results from journals in the Expert Opinion series. Free access to article abstracts is available across the range of journals, and users may then decide to purchase the article for a one-off online payment and receive instant access. In addition, the new service is also providing free email alerts which are delivered straight to the customer's inbox and can be tailored by journal, keywords or author with RSS alerts streaming live news direct to the desktop.
