Healthline Networks ranked second largest health information advertising network -

Health information services provider Healthline Networks, US, has announced that the Healthline Media Network has become the second largest health information web network property according to a July comScore Media Metrix report. The health-focused media network, which launched in June, currently counts a potential reach of almost 16 million unique monthly visitors, bringing Healthline's ranking among online health information sites to just behind WebMD.

The Healthline Media Network is claimed to be the only advertising network to leverage HealthSTAT, a contextual ad targeting technology that broadens condition-specific reach for health advertisers and improves monetisation for publishers. Healthline HealthSTAT utilises Medically Guided semantic search technology to understand medical terms, synonyms and relationships within the health content on a partner's web page. The technology has the medical expertise to customise pharmaceutical campaigns, ensuring they adhere to clients' specific requirements or marketing objectives.

The Healthline Media Network is currently comprised of websites in a variety of health vertical categories. These include general health (Healthline.com, Health.com); doctor/provider (Healthgrades.com, PracticeFusion.com, vitals.com); eCommerce (HealthPricer Marketplaces, including HealthPricer.com, marketplace.RightHealth.com and marketplace.Lifescript.com); senior health (eldr.com); medical specialty (visualdx.com) and medical reference (Britannica Health on Britannica.com, JustAnswer.com, Merriam-Webster Medical Dictionary on Merriam-Webster.com).
