The International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) has announced that online registration for the Managing Data for Science ICSTI 2009 Conference will close on June 3, 2009, at 23:59 EST. The conference will address how sharing research data is essential for effective collaboration and examine how researchers, librarians and publishers can work together to create structures for managing and communicating scientific data. Speakers include 14 data management experts from Europe, US and Canada. Conference attendees will be able to learn how digital libraries and e-publishers can accelerate scientific discovery; understand how your organisation can benefit from emerging eScience strategies; and network with sponsors and colleagues from research, government, publishing, information and library communities.
