Digital content services provider Ingram Digital, US, has announced the appointment of Frank Daniels as Chief Commercial Officer and Kent Freeman as Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made by the company's CEO Michael F. Lovett.
Daniels has served as Chief Operating Officer of the company since July 2006. Prior to joining Ingram he was President and CEO of VitalSource Technologies, which was acquired by Ingram in 2006. In his new role, he will have responsibility for guiding all commercial activities of Ingram Digital.
Freeman will have responsibility for overall production and technology activities of Ingram Digital. He has served as Chief Technology Officer of Ingram Digital Ventures, Ingram's first digital content company, and then of Ingram Digital. Since joining Ingram in 1983, Freeman has held several technology and business leadership positions for Ingram Book Group.
Ingram Digital is an independent e-content distributor and supplier of digital content management, hosting and distribution solutions for publishers, retailers, libraries, higher education institutions and resellers worldwide. In conjunction with the Ingram Content companies, Ingram Digital offers an array of solutions for helping customers monetise content and develop their digital strategy.
