Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced that it is presenting its eBook series collections - the Business, Management and Economics collection and the Social Sciences Collection - at the forthcoming CONSAL XIV General Conference, Hanoi, Vietnam, April 20-24. Both these collections offer international content from a worldwide author base, with new content to be added each year. Emerald representatives Adam Sutcliffe and Amex Tan will be on hand at the Emerald stand throughout the event to discuss the eBook series.
The Business, Management and Economics collection includes 65 series titles. It offers access to a selection of 380 volumes covering subjects such as strategy, accounting and finance, organisational studies and economics. The Social Sciences Collection complements and extends the current Emerald portfolio, with titles in sociology, education and psychology. This will add over 180 volumes across 37 series titles.
In addition to the new collections, the Emerald Insight platform has a new feature allowing users to search and browse in different collections, including All Content, journals, books, bibliographical databases, and site pages. Users can browse both journal and book series content either alphabetically or by subject, and the type of content is clearly displayed. Coming soon to the book series content are COUNTER usage statistics, Rightslink, and Document Outline.
On show will also be the new Emerald Management Xtra Plus collection of online journals offering online access to up to 200 scholarly journals and a host of support resources for communities of librarians, deans, researchers, students and managers.
Emerald will be running several events during the conference. An author workshop will be delivered by Steve O'connor, Editor of 'Library Management' from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, on April 21. Additionally Emerald will be exhibiting at booth number 2 during the conference, where a 'meet the editor' session will take place on April 21.
