Biopharma industry intelligence provider BioCentury Publications, Inc., US, has announced the appointment of Thomas C. Carey as its Vice President of Commercial Operations.
In his new position, Carey will be responsible for leading the sales organisation, product and event marketing, and partner management in addition to being a key member of the senior leadership team at BioCentury. He brings a proven track record of successful leadership in business operations, sales and marketing management, and business and corporate development with major life sciences companies. Previously, Carey was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Connetics Corporation, a $220 million company focused on dermatology. He also has held senior management positions at Roche Laboratories, Inc. and Syntex Corporation.
