Information service company EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO), Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Fred Wiltenburg as General Manager of its Aalsmeer, Netherlands, office.
In his new position, Wiltenburg will be responsible for the company’s Netherlands and Flemish Belgium operations, including customer service, publisher relations, marketing and sales. He previously served as regional director with Swets. He brings with him nearly a decade of industry experience, particularly in the Dutch and Belgian markets.
EBSCO Information Services claims to be the only organisation in the world able to supply e-journal, e-package & print subscriptions; a suite of e-resource management tools and a collection of nearly 300 full-text and licensed databases for all types of libraries, research organisations and corporations. The Company also provides targeted sales representation and dedicated services for publishers.
