Information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc., US, has announced that it has appointed Atlas Co., Ltd. as a preferred reseller for Atypon's software. Under this arrangement, Atlas will market and support Atypon's software to professional and scholarly publishers in Japan.
Atypon's software is used by some of the world's most prestigious professional and scholarly publishers to manage, deliver, and monetise their digital content, including journals, books, and other types of publications. The software is expected to make content from Japanese professionals and scholarly publishers more discoverable within and beyond Japan.
Atlas is Japan's leading technology partner for publishers, having developed the J-STAGE journal hosting platform under contract to the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
