ASA 2010 conference to examine information supply chain issues -

The Association of Subscription Agents & Intermediaries (ASA) has announced that the ASA Conference 2010 will be held in London from February 22-23, 2010.

The conference is projected to analyse and debate key topics of interest to the whole information supply chain. It will feature 17 speakers from the publishing, library, intermediary, research and corporate sectors. Topics include the Economic Downturn: Threats, Opportunities, Costs, Benefits; the Big Deal in the economic downturn: disaster or opportunity?; Information supply in the C21st: Changes in management, delivery, demand and use; Ebooks: Marketplace; the Economy (II): 2010 and Beyond: The Shape of Things to Come; and Innovations and possible futures.

Booking is now available via the ASA website at http://www.subscription-agents.org/conferences/asa-conference-2010. The ASA is also offering a special rate for librarians. Non-members booking before January 16 will obtain an early-bird discount.
