Institute of Physics and non-profit scientific publisher IOP Publishing, UK, has announced the appointment of James Walker as Group IT Director for the Institute of Physics and IOP Publishing. Having previously worked for ACNielsen, Blackwell’s Information Services, Elsevier Science and most recently the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company, Walker brings a wealth of experience to the position.
In his new position, Walker will drive IOP Publishing’s information technology strategy, building on the company’s innovative electronic publishing initiatives.
Wholly owned by the Institute of Physics, IOP Publishing is an international leader in scientific publishing and electronic dissemination of information and news in the field of physics.
