Information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc., US, has announced that Canadian Science Publishing, doing business as NRC Research Press, will launch a new publishing platform using the company's Literatum software.
NRC Research Press is a Canada-based scientific publisher, publishing 15 journals in all scientific disciplines. The Press recently became an independent not-for-profit corporation, having previously operated as a division of the National Research Council of Canada, a government entity.
Literatum is a leading platform used by professional and scholarly publishers to manage, deliver and monetise their digital content. Publishing organisations such as JSTOR, the American Chemical Society, de Gruyter, and Annual Reviews are using Literatum to provide controlled access to journals, books, reference works, and other types of publications.
