Atypon to power next generation informaworld publishing platform -

Information services provider Atypon Systems, Inc., US, has announced that academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group has selected its software to power the next generation of the informaworld publishing platform.

A division of Informa plc, Taylor & Francis Group includes such imprints as CRC Press, Psychology Press, and Routledge. It publishes more than 1,400 journals and 3,000 new books each year and maintains an e-book backlist of 25,000 titles and a print backlist of 50,000 titles.

Atypon will host the next-generation informaworld platform. According to Atypon, this is expected to bring in significant cost savings to the publisher. The platform will be fully integrated with Taylor & Francis’s internal systems, allowing for seamless identity and access management, commerce and more.
