Construction information provider Reed Construction Data (RCD), US, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reed Elsevier, has announced several enhancements to Reed Connect. Reed Connect is an online solution that offers detailed information on thousands of commercial and civil construction projects nationwide.
In response to customer feedback, Reed Connect now hosts plans and specs online for 180 days post bid. This feature allows customers to search specifications longer, and provides access to a larger number of projects with plans and specs online.
Connect users will now be able to produce customised Microsoft Excel exports from the Project, Company and Contact search results pages. Users can choose their export fields from the modify layout options, and directly export their search results to Excel. Another way Connect users can augment their online experience is by adding themselves as a public bidder to projects within Connect. The process is quick and easy, and allows customers to publicise their intent to bid on specific projects.
Other enhancements include modifications to the Project and Company detail pages, expanded Reed DataLink search capabilities and a consolidated materials section.
