The Canadian Journal of Urology (CJU) has named Dr. Leonard Gomella, Chair of the Department of Urology at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, as the new Editor-in-Chief.
Dr. Gomella is involved in both basic science and clinical research in the development of new diagnostic techniques and treatments for prostate, bladder and kidney cancer through Kimmel Cancer Center (KCC). He has served on numerous journal editorial boards in the field of urology and oncology. He is the editor-in-chief of the Five Minute Urology Consult, and laparoscopy section editor for Glenn’s Urologic Surgery.
The Canadian Journal of Urology is a peer reviewed indexed journal published six times per year. The journal is indexed in Index Medicus/MEDLINE and Current Contents/Clinical Medicine. The journal has steadily gained recognition in the medical community within Canada and abroad, and continues to successfully disseminate the latest scientific knowledge in the field of urology.
