Serials Solutions, a business unit of the US-based ProQuest LLC, has signed an agreement with Swedish publisher BTJ to enable the discovery of their ArtikelSök resource from the Summon web-scale discovery service. With the inclusion of metadata for the over 2 million items including articles from 12 Swedish newspapers and 440 periodicals, researchers now will be able to discover high quality Swedish-language materials alongside their library's other resources to gather the most relevant information for their projects.
BTJ has 70 years of experience in making information available to libraries through their effective search services. These services make it possible to search various media and gain access to newspaper and magazine articles.
With this arrangement, BTJ joins the ever-growing list of Summon service content providers, underscoring Serials Solutions' ongoing commitment to make the most comprehensive discovery service for researchers around the world. With full text search for most content in its single unified index, the Summon service provides a superior discovery experience by allowing researchers to search its more than 810 million records optimised for discovery using the Summon service's exclusive match and merge process.
