Future Medicine Ltd., part of Future Science Group, UK, has announced the re-branding of the journal Therapy under the new name of Clinical Practice. The new title is designed to more aptly reflect the needs of the readership and the future direction for the journal. The journal addresses key issues and controversies in modern medicine.
Over the past eight years Therapy has established a solid readership as a general medical title. The journal covers a broad spectrum of medical disorders and reaches out to a wide audience including clinicians, decision-makers, researchers and a range of professionals in the healthcare community. Now, as well as the new name, cover design and page layouts, the re-launched title includes novel article types drawing on expert opinion regarding new approaches to managing and treating disease, identifying clinical burden and unmet needs, as well as analyzing the implications of recently published guidelines for daily practice.
The editorial direction of Clinical Practice is driven by three Editors-in-Chief - Gregory YH Lip (City Hospital, Birmingham, UK), Samy I McFarlane (State University of New York, NY, USA) and James Larkin (Royal Marsden Hospital, London, UK) - who coordinate efforts to achieve the highest quality content across the most topical subjects in modern medicine. The wider Editorial Board consists of influential clinician representatives of their respective fields to ensure a good balance of published content and to provide moderation and evaluation during the publication process.
