Online publishing services provider Semantico Ltd., UK, has announced that it has extended its international Shibboleth support.
Shibboleth integration is available as an additional component to the Semantico Access Management System (SAMS). Semantico now support Shibboleth integration for countries such as UK, Switzerland, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, USA, Australia, Sweden and Denmark.
With librarians able to view increasingly detailed and sophisticated statistics that tell them how many users are reading a publication, reliable, straightforward access is essential in avoiding cancelled subscriptions. Allowing users from different countries to log in using their Shibboleth credentials makes access easier.
