STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced a new addition to the Clinics of North America series – Cardiac Electrophysiology Clinics. Under the guidance of Consulting Editors Dr. Ranjan Thakur and Dr. Andrea Natale, each issue is devoted to a single topic that covers the most significant concerns in this field.
A quarterly publication, Cardiac Electrophysiology Clinics seeks to provide comprehensive reviews of contemporary issues of interest to clinicians. The journal is expected to help Electrophysiologists as well as other cardiologists and physicians caring for patients with arrhythmias in clinical decision making. Initial issues will feature topics such as sudden cardiac death; epicardial interventions in electrophysiology; advances in arrhythmia analyses; arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy/dysplasia; and advances in antiarrhythmic drug therapy.
Dr. Thakur is Professor of Medicine and Program Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Michigan State University and Director of the Arrhythmia Service at the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute, Sparrow Health System, in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Natale is Executive Medical Director of Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin Texas.
