American Psychological Association releases APA Books E-Collection 2012 -

The American Psychological Association (APA) has announced the electronic release of APA scholarly and professional book titles from the current copyright year within the new APA Books E-Collection 2012. APA Books E-Collections enable institutions to purchase and access electronically sets of APA titles based on their individual copyright year.

At release, the APA Books E-Collection 2012 contains electronic versions of 14 titles, and will add 20 additional titles as they are published throughout the remainder of the 2012 copyright year. Along with the release of the latest collection, APA has also reduced the pricing on most of the back-year collections. With reductions of as much as 20 percent for certain years, these changes will make APA Books E-Collections more affordable and allow library budgets to go further in providing valuable APA scholarly book content for their user communities.

Originally debuting in 2009, APA Books E-Collections are available for the copyright years 2001 through 2012. APA Books E-Collections provide the benefit of content ownership and include a host of value-added features, such as MARC records for each title. Additionally, access to the literature is provided on APA PsycNET, APA's platform developed specifically for searching psychological content.
