TechWeb and O'Reilly Media, Inc., co-producers of Web 2.0 Expo and Web 2.0 Summit, have announced the keynote speakers for the Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco event. The event, scheduled for May 3-6, 2010, at the Moscone West Convention Center, will focus on helping businesses choose and leverage the right Web platforms for success.
The Web 2.0 Expo brings together speakers from organisations that are exploring new platforms and using the Web for growth. Key speakers for the Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco 2010 include Lili Cheng, General Manager, Microsoft's Future Social Experiences (FUSE) Labs; June Cohen, Executive Producer, TED Conferences; Kevin Lynch, CTO & Senior VP, Adobe Systems Incorporated; Josh Silverman, CEO, Skype; Danny Sullivan, Editor in Chief, Search Engine Land; and Ge Wang, Assistant Professor, Stanford University, among others.
Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco will feature workshops, expo show floor, an ‘unconference’ programme called Web2Open, a multi-track conference, networking opportunities and a Launch Pad programme. This year's Launch Pad, sponsored by Elance, is looking to spotlight new and innovative Web 2.0 products or companies. The call for Launch Pad submissions is now open and will close on March 31, 2010.
