ebrary offers free e-book collection on cyber bullying -

Digital content products and technologies provider ebrary, US, has announced that it is subsidising a collection of open access e-books on cyber bullying and will enable other organisations to contribute materials as long as they have copyrights. With this move, ebrary seeks to help parents, educators, and others better understand, prevent, and take action against this growing concern.

Available immediately at http://site.ebrary.com/lib/cyberbullying, ebrary's Cyber Bullying Searchable Information Center includes such titles as Bullying Prevention and Intervention: Realistic Strategies for Schools, by Susan Swearer (Guilford Press, 2009); and Keep Your Kids Safe on the Internet, by Simon Johnson (McGraw-Hill, 2004). It also includes a growing selection of documents uploaded by ebrary employees from authoritative sites including the Pew Internet & American Life Project, US Department of Justice, and other agencies.

Ebrary encourages organisations to upload their own relevant materials, right from their computers, with DASH! (Data Sharing, Fast) - a feature of many ebrary subscription e-book products. The Cyber Bullying Searchable Information Center is just one of a growing number of open access collections created by ebrary employees and customers with DASH!
